Clean Air Loans

Under the Regional Air Plan 2014, many people in the Invercargill and Gore airsheds will be required to upgrade their heating systems, as open fires and non-compliant burners are phased out to help improve air quality.

Making the change to cleaning heating options can be difficult and Environment Southland has joined with the Invercargill City Council, Gore District Council and Awarua Synergy to provide a loan scheme to assist people with making this change.
